Hello everyone,
Another update on Pharmalisting as of Sept 28 2025,
The Pharmalisting Club has officially been approved by UPS and we’ve begun hiring executive members for the roles of Co-President, Social Rep, Outreach Rep, Class Reps and Events Rep. I hope that students who have a passion for being a part of this project will apply. The Instagram has gained many followers too and we are trying to reach out to the student population as best we can. The listserv emails have went out to the students in the faculty, and I hope more students get to see the executive committee applications.
The website has been getting many views (more than I ever expected) and some pharmacy connections have been made. We have 8 student jobs that are directly from a pharmacy manager in the community, I hope students got to see it and apply. For reference, we will make jobs “featured” when a pharmacist reaches out to us directly about the position, so we recommend applying to those first.
Especially since it is about to approach “flu season” many pharmacies are looking to hire and if students are recently injection trained, its the perfect time to get hired. I’m aware that second year students may not get their injection certificates until sometimes in October and hope that wont deter them from finding a job.
There is not much else, but super excited for October to start the club
